Swaddle Couture was conceived of by two moms who experienced first hand the calming benefits of swaddling for their babies and the difficulty in turning their babies into cute, soothed little burritos. That is, without some help! Simple hospital blankets were just too impractical. Plain velcro swaddles were helpful but often drab.
